Historical breakthrough in fashion design - 10 people who have changed the way they dress


When people dress in the morning, probably not thinking about the groundbreakers in fashion design that have influenced them, either directly or even unconsciously. But fashion would not be what it is today without these designers, action and entrepreneurs. It has changed the way of thinking about the clothes, the path that lead and how we buy them.

Charles Frederick worth. Considered the father of Haute Couture, is worth the penalty was the first fashion designer to make a name for himself. Before he opened his house of fashion in Paris in 1858, construction and design of fashion were handled by seamstresses and tailors anonymous. Richard blackwell. When Mr. Blackwell first published his "worst dressed list" in 1960, quite invented the concept of "what you should not use." Its observations scathing sense of fashion stars, or lack of it, created a craft of criticism of the fashion, eventually towards comments of red carpet today and post-awards fashion blogs.

Ralph lauren. Fashion giant Ralph Lauren was a pioneer in a label of fashion design to become a lifestyle brand. Through aggressive advertising, he not only sold clothes, he was selling an image: aristocratic, he, with a touch of tough West. While the gap popularized persimmons and casual Friday, his legacy is far more profound: gap has become the epitome of the "store of the Mall" concept, in which no matter what city can be consumers inthey have the comfort of knowing that the Gap store there is equal to one in his hometown. Virtually every clothing retailer has followed this business model, resulting in a landscape of fashion that is fairly uniform throughout the country.

Anna wintour. Considered as one of the most important and intimidating, in fashion today, the editor Chief of Vogue since 1988 is known for establishing trends and anointing new designers. If Wintour puts a designer in his magazine, the endorsement may make his career. Because of its influence, John Galliano, became the Chief Designer of Dior, and Brooks Brothers collaborated with Thom Browne. His influence on the current fashion scene is simply unmatched.

Although this list of influential figures is short, the annals of history of fashion school could provide hundreds of additional names of individuals who have influenced the way you saw. The hats are off to all of them.
